Dating in Italy for couples and conscious relationships

In Italy, open couples, private swing circles, polyamorous networks and the BDSM scene have deep roots and a well-developed culture — from Rome's centuries-old libertine tradition to Bologna's progressive queer scene, the de facto Italian capital of LGBTQ+ culture since Arcigay was founded there in 1985. If you live here and the 'one partner for life' model doesn't quite fit you, many people around you share that experience. What's been missing is a meeting space designed for it.
Why classical dating sites don't fit
Couples looking for a third have to register as singles on most platforms, or explain their format in a free-form text field. Polyamorous configurations don't fit any standard model. Swingers run into community guidelines on generalist apps. BDSM preferences and limits have nowhere to be declared in a structured way — at best they end up in the «about me» section, where they can't be filtered or searched on.
On Gramsy, the profile shows from the start what each person is looking for, who they want to meet, and where their boundaries are. Our goal is for the profile to be as informative as possible — so conversations with compatible people can start on solid ground, and you can recognize clearly incompatible matches before sending the first message.
A young platform, openly so
We're a new platform, and we say so plainly. Gramsy is built for people for whom mainstream dating sites simply don't fit: couples looking for a third, swingers, polyamorous families, BDSM, LGBTQ+. These are overlapping communities, not separate audiences as the market tends to treat them. So from the start, we design with couple accounts and unconventional formats as the primary use case, not the exception.
Couple accounts and privacy
For couples, we have a real couple account: both partners use it together, see the same conversations, and make decisions jointly. If with time you'd prefer two separate logins, that's possible — each gets their own credentials, while the profile and conversations stay shared.
Photos are moderated before publication. Public pages show only what you've authorized; other photos can stay in 'on request' or 'private' albums. The profile can be removed from search results while remaining accessible by direct link — useful when your professional circle overlaps with the local scene.
A nickname instead of your real name, phone number and email hidden. Full identity is revealed only to the people you yourself decide to meet.

Cities in Italy
For our launch, we're present in five cities — Rome, Milan, Naples, Florence and Bologna. If your city isn't on the list yet, create your profile anyway: it's visible across all of Italy, and many couples and singles from major cities travel regularly to nearby regions for meet-ups.
